Prosper Waco’s website provides links and information about local health, education and financial resources. The Get Help Locally allows you to easily search for resources under the following categories and view their location on a map:

Emergency Shelter & Homelessness. Aunt Bertha

Aunt Bertha is an online social care network that allows you to search for free or reduced cost services like medical care, food, job training, and other local community resources by simply entering your zip code in the search bar. Once you enter your zip code, the number of programs available in your area is displayed. You can then type a search term in the search bar or choose among one of the following categories: food, housing, goods, transit, health, money, care, education, work, and legal.

Free Internet


Many Internet and mobile service providers are offering free Internet via public access to Wifi hotspots to help individuals, students, businesses and communities during this time including:

  • Spectrum Mobile
  • Xfinity
  • AT&T
  • Waco Public Library and Waco Convention Center’s Wifi service is free to the public. Wifi can be accessed in parking lots near the buildings at all four Waco-McLennan County Library locations (East, South, West and Central) from 7 am to 11 pm and 24/7 at the Convention Center. Click here for more information.
